UNION PARK ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF EAGLE VISION
BOSTON, MA – July 31, 2017. Industrial Physics, Inc., a Boston-based test and measurement equipment manufacturer and portfolio company of Union Park Capital, today announced the purchase of Eagle Vision Systems BV. Eagle Vision is a leader in machine vision technology for the food, beverage and metal packaging industry. Eagle Vision is headquartered in the Netherlands.
Eagle Vision’s solutions enable customers to check the quality of cans, can seams, bottles and confectionary molds before filling to verify fill accuracy, to validate labeling accuracy and to assure package integrity. Eagle Vision counts among its customers leading manufacturers of metal cans, baby food, beer, and confectionary products.
Eagle Vision joins Testing Machines Inc., CMC-KUHNKE, Messmer Büchel, Systech Illinois, TM Electronics, Ray-Ran Test Equipment, and United Testing Systems as an independent Industrial Physics operating company. Industrial Physics’ brands address critical test and measurement needs of customers in the food and beverage, metal packaging, flexible packaging, paper and plastics, medical device and consumer electronics markets. Industrial Physics companies are helping customers meet the ever-increasing test and quality standards required by demanding regulators, consumers and manufacturers. Industrial Physics is a portfolio company of Union Park Capital, a private-equity firm that specializes in industrial technology investments.
