UNION PARK CAPITAL ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF PROPHOTONIX LIMITED
Boston, MA – December 16, 2021. Union Park Capital (“Union Park”), a Boston-based private equity firm focused on lower middle-market industrial technology investments is pleased to announce its acquisition of ProPhotonix Limited (“ProPhotonix”). ProPhotonix is a long-established designer and manufacturer of OEM laser modules and LED solutions for industrial, medical, and scientific equipment. The business will join Union Park’s Exaktera group of businesses (“Exaktera”).
ProPhotonix offers OEMs a complete illumination solution for their LED and laser requirements and has developed unique expertise in analytical, medical, and industrial applications such as 3D scanning and metrology, UV curing and disinfecting, industrial alignment, and machine vision. Since 1951, ProPhotonix has worked together with its customers to find solutions for their illumination needs, which are often embedded in longstanding products and programs of world-class manufacturing companies across many different industries.
