UNION PARK ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF SIGHTLINE PROCESS CONTROL
Milford, MA - May 14, 2019. Union Park Capital, a Boston based private equity firm focused on lower middle-market industrial technology investments, today announced the acquisition Sightline Process Control, Inc., (“Sightline”) a company specializing in 3D color vision and automated inspection systems that improve product quality, increase line productivity and reduce operating costs across the food production process. The business will join Union Park’s KPM Analytics Holdings platform. This is KPM’s fifth acquisition since its inception in late 2015. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Sightline joins the KPM team of food experts at Unity Scientific, AMS Alliance, Process Sensors Corporation (PSC), and CHOPIN Technologies – the perfect complement particularly for our CHOPIN and PSC businesses as we now have a broader offering for our customers in the food industry,” commented Chris McIntire, CEO of KPM Analytics. “Sightline provides imaging techniques for food customers such as bakery, snack food, meat & poultry plus many others. We are very excited to have them part of our portfolio. The combination of all five strong, well-regarded brands further positions KPM Analytics as a key provider in the global food analytics and processing space.”
“We look forward to being part of KPM Analytics, it is a great opportunity for all of us.” says Sightline CEO John Lawrence. “Continuing to offer innovative solutions to our customers now backed by the strength of the KPM organization will only add value to what we can offer to our customers.”
Headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with sales and service in Europe, the business will continue to operate from its HQ in Ottawa with Lawrence as CEO.
